Rain is good luck...
We all know the saying "April showers bring May flowers".. right? Well, for Jacquelyn and Trenton, this was completely accurate. The forecast had called for tornadoes, hail, heavy winds and rain. However, even though it was stormy and rainy, we were able to capture their day like it was a romantic novel! The amazing owners of the Willow and Oak Venue in Augusta KS pulled off an amazing, Kansas spring wedding. Everything was already planned to be indoors and they had provided clear umbrellas for everyone which made the perfect prop for photos and enabled us to get a few shots outdoors! Between the adrenaline rush of severe weather and the feeling of love in the air, their wedding was just as special and magical as any other wedding I've documented.
It was such an honor for me to document Trenton and Jacquelyn's wedding knowing that both of them give back to the public. Jacquelyn is going to school to be a pediatric nurse while Trenton is a firefighter for the Augusta City Fire Department. They both love their dog Hazel, a beautiful blue heeler who deserved her own special spotlight walking down the aisle! They have such a kind and caring personality. So much so that even with the worry of tornadoes on her shoulders, sweet Jacquelyn gave Chels and I a gift; a camera lens look alike CUP! Their wedding will always be one for the books and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. Enjoy the beautiful images from their beautiful day below!
