spring, fresh air and love

Great Plains Nature Center was the perfect spot for Alexis's idea on their engagement session. It's full of tall grass, green trees and in the spring time they have the beautiful cherry blossoms blooming! As soon as I saw them in the parking lot of the park I knew how beautiful this whole experience was going to be! She told me she had picked out their outfits that went along with their wedding theme, which was brilliant because when using save the dates it's important to use images that flow with your wedding day style. She wore a beautiful beige dress with flowers while Taven wore beige pants, a light blue long sleeve and a nice vest. The whole time was full of fun, laughter, and talking about Taylor Swift (they're HUGE fans, yes even Taven!)!

A few weeks later I was visiting Eastborough Park on the east side of Wichita on a semi cold and rainy day. It was SO beautiful and had romance written all over it. So.. as if their last session wasn't enough.. Taven and Alexis met me there that day for a second round of engagement photos and we loved this set even MORE! Their neutral earthy tones paired well with the moody weather. These two made it so easy to photograph them because they are just so in love with each other they required little posing from me!
