Colorado mountains in kansas??


Okay, okay, these weren't in the mountains.. BUT they DO look like we were in the Colorado woods! I love to hike and one of my favorite places in Wichita is Pawnee Prairie Park! With the warm weather we had been having during the winter months this year, I've been going a lot more often. During one of my many hikes, I came across multiple places on the trail that looks like a completely different state. Olivia wanted something different than the normal Kansas fields so we came up with the idea of having a "picnic" in the "Colorado" woods so to Pawnee Prairie we went! We laid down a white blanket on the trail and added flowers to the basket to make the scene pop a little more. We wanted something editorial so with a lot of movement we documented the fact she was laying in a beautiful area just soaking in the nature! Check out her featured images below!
