Spring senior portraits

Nathalia really wanted some spring senior portraits when the flowers were in full bloom and the greens were lush.. There are several locations in Wichita, KS that can feel like an english garden when it comes to taking photos but nothing says English Garden like the garden by the Sedgwick County Extension Office! The tall narrow cedar trees just SCREAMS garden! Not to mention all of the rose bushes, wooden fence posts and wildflowers make it the perfect location (and it's free)!

We brought a beautiful bouquet and a yellow umbrella for a little extra spice in the images, you know I love props! Props can make ANY session turn into something with more movements, detail and points of interest. Don't be afraid to bring props to your senior session! They might just get you published!!

A few weeks after delivering Nathalia's gallery, I saw a magazine submission open for a flowers theme and just KNEW I had the perfect photo! Sure, enough, after a few days of submitting the image, I received an email from Bold & Beautiful Magazine saying it was chosen to be published! It was such an honor to have one of my senior published in a magazine! Enjoy my favorite images from this session, including the one published!
