Natural beauty

Kenzie's portrait session was nothing short of amazing. She loved the idea of something natural so we decided on hanging a white backdrop in the park with some flowers and other props! When we first arrived at Sedgwick County Park in Wichita, it honestly looked like it was going to down pour while we were there, however, we weren't opposed to this idea either! Kenzie was totally open to doing some portraits in the rain, which I love that she was so easy going. We started by looking for a pair of trees to use for the sheet and we found the perfect ones with the branches making an arch in between the two. Luckily, Kenzie was taller than me so it wasn't too difficult to hang the backdrop!

Once everything was settled and put together I could tell how amazing this session was going to look, and so did Kenzie! She has this radient smile that's honestly contageous. You can't be serious or quiet when photographing this girl! You could tell she was having so much fun and really enjoying our time out there. I knew that with her set-up, the session should be more candid with lots of movement and motion in the images. This created an editorial look that captured her natural beauty in a natural scene! I would LOVE to do more sessions like hers.. it honestly is one of my most favorite ones to date. Check out my favorite images from her session below!
