Wildly in love with the wild...

Jaiden's senior portraits are like no other I've done before! Jaiden currently works at the Sedgwick County Zoo here in Wichita, KS and immediately knew she wanted her portraits there. She loves wildlife and working with all of the different animals. Our first stop of the day was the children's farm where Jaiden loves to watch and play with the goats! It was so cute how most of them just sat there while she petted them. After a few close ups with them we decided to make our way down to the Tropics. My favorite thing about the Tropics is the fact that the birds are able to go and fly freely as they choose so it gives them (and you) a more realistic environmental experience!

The second half of her session we decided to go to Sedgwick County Park where we could get the beautiful nature the park offers on their trails. After walking a tiny bit through the park we noticed there was a bend in the trail that made for an awesome perspective! To end the day we went to a field with her car so we could recreate an image that her mother took when she graduated high school. It was a photo of her mom on top of the hood of her car and Jaiden NAILED it! Just as we were finishing up she remembered that they brought flowers to use as a prop and what better way to photograph portraits and flowers than to lay them down to get some beauty shots??
