A beautiful venue in peculiar, mo
Allison and Noah's wedding was held on a beautiful fall day in November. It was held at the Dogwood Gardens in Peculiar, MO, a venue we have never been to! In fact, I found it quite peculiar when they mentioned the venue was in Peculiar because I had never heard of the town! However, it turned out to be a stunning place with ALL of the fall colors! Their wedding had my favorite fall color, terracotta orange, which went perfectly with the natural wood tones of the other decorations. In the details they had this wooden ring holder that had a heart shaped engraving to hold the rings in which I thought added a lovely touch to her images. Finishing up with details we started with the Noah and his groomsmen, which was the cutest little grooms party we have seen! They consisted of their little boys and Noah's two closest people. Allison's wedding party wasn't short of beautiful smiles either! You could clearly tell that they were HER girls and each had their own special bond with her. When it was time to do their first look I knew it would be a poor choice to leave out the beautiful area and fall colors so we lined it up to where I was across the pond looking straight into the trees you see in the photo above. It was perfect to get the emotional shots of them seeing each other for the first time that day! Because it was a fall day, the sun was setting fast, however by skillfully working we were able to get a variety of poses and images of just Allison and the bride and groom together in a short amount of time! Finishing up with a beautiful ceremony we moved the party indoors where we were able to photograph the Mother of the bride getting down and letting loose on the dance floor! These are some of my favorite images!
