"Like a scene from a movie.."

Where do I even START?? If you live in Wichita or anywhere south you should seriously consider going on a picnic date to the Bartlett with your family, bestie or other half. They have so many spots in the park with beautiful views big enough to have your own private moment with just the two of you! Alexandria or "Alex" and Karson truly understood the assignment when we decided to do a picnic themed engagement session at Bartlett Arboretum. Alex wore a beautiful beige flowy dress that matched Karson's short sleeved top. They brought a white sheet, a crochet blanket, a fruit tray, a WAFFLE tray, wine, wine glasses, the whole 9 yards! Everything about this session was just perfect. When we picked the location I had an idea in mind that I really wanted this to look like photographs from a movie scene. Typically I pose all of my couples in a very nice, timeless way, however, this time I decided to try something new and just gave them prompts to do throughout the session that would give all of the nice, candid smiles, laughs and intimate looks! I told them to really just enjoy the moment and pretend like I'm not even here, so very little looking at the camera. It was SO easy to photograph Alex's and Karsons personalities and love for each other. The whole time I couldn't help but think I was witnessing a true live Nicholas Sparks movie scene!
