Wow!

I can't believe I'm finally doing this, but I've decided to start a blog! Normally New Year resolutions consist of health changes, financial changes and so forth, but this year, my New Year resolution is about BUSINESS changes! I don't want to be a photographer who just takes pretty pictures because I'm so much more than that! I'm a wife, dog mom, cat mom, best friend, Christian, and so many other fun things! This year I want to allow you guys to get to know me on a personal level. What I go through in my day to day life, what it's like being behind the lens and the fun adventures I go on!

Because it's New Years Eve, why not talk about our new years goals for 2024?

To recap, 2023 was an AMAZING year! Our goals were to finally get the jobs we wanted, move into a house, and save money. It all happened, plus more! My business grew to an amount I didn't expect as a first year LLC (to be clear, I have been a photographer for longer than a year, just not as an LLC), we moved into the perfect house for us with an awesome back yard for Levi and Layla to finally enjoy, and..... my best friend got ENGAGED!!! 2023 was a "starter" year you could say.. a year for us to work our butts of to get STARTED at the life we want!

Unfortunately, because of 2023 being our starter year, we didn't have the time or funds to do anything adventurous or fun. So with that being said, one of our goals for 2024 is a weekend camping trip ONCE a month! We both love the outdoors and fishing, okay, I love the outdoors and he loves fishing, so a camping trip is the perfect solution! Not only will this help us to appreciate being outdoors more but it'll allow us to grow closer to each other and appreciate the quiet time away from home.
